The Design Sprint is a structured 5-day process created by Jake Knapp at Google Ventures to solve critical business problems through design, prototyping, and rapid testing with real users. Its goal is to compress months of work into one week.

Stages: Monday (map the problem and choose the focus), Tuesday (sketch solutions), Wednesday (decide on the best solution), Thursday (prototype), Friday (test with 5 real users).

The Design Sprint integrates UX design principles, market research, and agile decision-making. In research, Friday's user testing is a mini-qualitative study that generates fast learning about the solution's viability.
